Seasoned firewood is wood that has been properly dried, making it efficient, safer, and cleaner to burn compared to freshly cut wood.

At Cashiers Firewood, we source logs that would already be removed. We recycle the logs and repurpose them into high-quality firewood. From the long logs, we cut and split into 3-5" diameter pieces, perfect for your fireplace needs. These pieces are conveyed and stored into climate-controlled buildings with concrete floors and metal roofs, each equipped with forced air induction systems to help eliminate moisture. This process takes 8-12 months depending on weather conditions. Our wood is aged to perfection, ensuring the wood reaches the perfect balance—ready to deliver optimal burn quality.
